Job summary

Grand Traverse County is seeking a Homemaker Aide to support older adults with in-home cleaning and laundry. You will dust, vacuum, wash dishes, make beds, and keep living spaces tidy while maintaining respectful interactions with clients and reporting needs to a supervisor.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), some cleaning experience, and a valid driver's license with personal vehicle insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Some house cleaning experience required.

Responsibilities

• Dusts, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors.
• Washes dishes, cleans kitchen counters, sinks, tub and toilet.
• Washes, dries, folds, and puts away laundry.
• Interacts with clients and reports needs to a supervisor.
• Participates in staff meetings and training sessions.
