Job summary

Right at Home in Phoenix, AZ is seeking Homemaker Companions to provide non-medical in-home support to seniors, focusing on companionship, daily living tasks, and safe transport to activities.

You will visit clients, share conversations, assist with errands, meal preparation and light housekeeping. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 10 lbs are required, along with English proficiency and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Read, write, speak English with or without accommodations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle.
• Must be able to lift at least 10 lbs.
• Must have a negative TB test or be able to obtain one upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living needs offering companionship care.
• Take clients on walks, trips to social events, or run errands.
• Prepare a home cooked meal (you don't need to be a gourmet chef).
• Perform light housekeeping.
