Job summary

Right at Home in Phoenix is seeking a compassionate Homemaker/Companion to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes. You will provide companionship, help with everyday tasks, and support clients to remain independent and engaged in their community.

duties include light homemaking, meal preparation, and errands with safety as a priority. The role offers flexible shifts, ongoing training, and the chance to grow with a supportive team in a community-focused company.

Qualifications

• High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the client.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to lift at least 150 pounds with a gait belt.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a vehicle safely.
• Negative TB test or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship during client activities and outings.
• Assist with homemaking tasks (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, bathroom cleaning).
• Prepare simple meals and assist with grocery shopping as needed.
• Foster partner relationships with clients to ensure comfort and trust.
