Job summary

Visiting Angels of Kirkland is hiring Certified Homecare Aide (HCA) caregivers to serve clients in Kirkland and surrounding areas with flexible schedules and competitive wages.

You will provide personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation assistance, while following each client’s care plan and reporting changes to the office. Training opportunities are available for skill development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes when scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten the day for each client.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support clients with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents to the office.
• Provide companionship and responsive support.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Assist with medication reminders and mobility support.
