Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare in San Marcos, TX is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes. This role covers days and weekends with immediate start, offering flexible scheduling and comprehensive clinical support.

You will assess, document, and implement care plans, educate families, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes while adhering to safety standards and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• TB skin test within last 12 months.
• Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care per physician orders.
• Observe and assess patient condition and report changes to supervisor/physician.
• Document activities, assessments, nursing actions, and care coordination in a timely manner.
• Develop, implement and update the nursing care plan.
• Take appropriate nursing actions to achieve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control measures and safe patient care.
