Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team in Mico, TX. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, and deliver evidence-based care in patients' homes to improve mobility and reduce pain.

The role emphasizes patient education, safety, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and therapists. A Texas PT license and liability insurance are required, with a strong preference for home health experience.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas.
• Professional liability insurance coverage for Texas PT license.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in home health.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend fall-prevention strategies.
• Deliver compassionate care while empowering patients to achieve independence.
