Job summary

Guardian Community Care is hiring dedicated CNAs and PCAs to deliver person-centered home care in Wake and Chatham counties. You will support clients to maintain independence, dignity and quality of life in a nurse-led environment.

Starting at 16.00+/hour with higher pay for qualified CNAs. Flexible schedule options include part-time or full-time roles, with ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Active NC CNA listing for CNAs or prior personal care/caregiving experience for PCAs.
• Current TB test is required.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Professional scrubs required for all assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Monitor and document client health status, vital signs and behavioral changes.
• Provide medication reminders per care plans and HIPAA guidelines.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and infection control practices.
• Assist with transfers using Hoyer lifts or mobility devices.
• Provide dementia and memory care support.
• Communicate with supervising nurses, care coordinators and family members.
• Complete EVV documentation for visits.
