Job summary

At Home Healthcare in Longview, TX is seeking Special Attendants/Adult Travel Care Partners to assist clients at home, following a care plan, and provide companionship and daily living support to promote independence.

Positions offer flexible schedules, on-call 24/7 support, and weekly pay. Responsibilities include errands, meal prep, transportation, telehealth assistance, and adherence to care plans with professional communication to families and teammates.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate/GED preferred.
• Experience: Six months of working as a Personal Attendant and/or active CNA.
• Must be competent to provide personal assistance services as demonstrated by experience or testing; strong interpersonal skills, a compassionate attitude, patience, empathy, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Aiding with activities of daily living.
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation.
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits.
• Meal preparation.
• Providing companionship.
• Personal care (bathing, toileting, grooming, feeding, etc).
• Follow a plan of care.
• Communicate professionally with families and your team.
• Travel radius of 60 miles.
