Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care services according to the patient\'s plan of care. The role includes assisting with bathing, grooming, feeding, and daily activities in the patient’s home.

Requirements include CPR/First Aid certification, state/federal training compliance, background screening, and competency completion. The position offers competitive hourly pay, weekly paychecks, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements per state and federal laws when applicable.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Background screening and Maxim competency program completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient per plan of care: baths, hygiene, dressing, feeding.
• Take and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered.
• Safe transfer and ambulation, assist with ROM exercises as ordered.
• Perform simple procedures as extensional therapy as ordered.
• Handle patient laundry and maintain safety practices at home.
• Observe, document, and report changes to the assigned nurse supervisor.
