Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Home Health Aide to support patients in their homes under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will observe, report, and document patient care to promote comfort and well-being.

Qualifications

• Meets state training requirements.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Must have current driver's license.
• Reliable transportation with current auto liability insurance.
• One year experience as HHA or CNA preferred, or completed CNA/CHHA program.
• Able to read and write in English and follow instructions.
• Demonstrates interest in welfare of ill and elderly.
• CPR and Hepatitis profile where required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal healthcare and related services in the client's residence.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Work cooperatively with patient and family; report observations to supervisor.
• Work under direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

Skills

At least 18 years old

Read and write in English

Interest in welfare of ill and elderly

Self-directed with minimal supervision

Calm demeanor in patient's home

Education

High School Diploma Preferred

Certified Nursing Assistant program or Certified Home Health Aide program
