Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide compassionate in-home care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will observe and document patient conditions, assist with activities of daily living, and support families in maintaining a safe home environment.

Requirements include English literacy, a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, and prior home health or nursing assistant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Meets the training requirements of the state where employed.
• At least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma preferred for applicants.
• Must hold a current driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• Have valid auto liability insurance.
• At least one year of Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant experience is preferred, or completion of CNA/CHHA program.
• Ability to read and write in English and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Demonstrates care for ill and elderly patients.
• CPR certification (Florida only) and Hepatitis profile as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal healthcare and related services to the client in their place of residence.
• Assist in providing a safe and clean environment.
• Work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor.
• Work under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
