Job summary

Allaire Health Services, LLC is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support residents with daily living activities in a licensed care setting in Florida. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals, and transportation as needed, always prioritizing dignity and privacy.

You will monitor residents, report changes promptly, follow safety protocols, maintain a clean, sanitary environment, and participate in ongoing training to improve patient care.

Responsibilities

• Treats residents with dignity, kindness, and respect while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
• Assists residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene needs.
• Provides oral and dental care assistance.
• Keeps residents clean, dry, and in comfortable clothing.
• Grooms residents with hair care, shaving, nails, and appearance.
• Positions residents in chairs, beds, and tubs; assists with transfers.
• Assists with toileting and care of bowel/bladder; maintains cleanliness.
• Provides perineal and catheter care; collects specimens when directed.
• Observes and reports changes in residents' condition promptly.
• Reports accidents, incidents, and safety concerns to supervisor.
• Changes bed linens; makes beds; maintains bedding supplies.
• Assists with meal preparation, distribution, and feeding.
• Prepares residents for medical appointments, activities, and events.
• Assists with ambulation and transports by wheelchair or other means.
• Participates in in-service education and training programs.
• Uses PPE appropriately.
• Performs rounds every 2–3 hours or as needed.
• Responds to call lights and requests for assistance promptly.
• Adheres to precautionary and safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe environment at all times.
• Reports hazardous conditions or defective equipment immediately.
• Completes required forms, reports, and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Communicates effectively with residents regarding care and condition changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
