A Place at Home is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join our care team. You will provide quality in-home assistance with activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, grooming, meal prep, mobility, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and documenting changes while protecting client privacy. Our team values reliability and empathy in every visit.

Qualifications

• State-approved Home Health Aide certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Strong communication and empathy are essential.
• Ability to work independently with patience.

Responsabilités

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation; observe dietary restrictions.
• Provide medication reminders per care plan.
• Perform light housekeeping for a clean living environment.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety.
• Provide companionship and build trusting relationships.
• Document and report changes to supervising nurse.
• Follow HIPAA and protect client PHI.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
