Job summary

First Day Homecare is seeking dependable PRN/Part-Time caregivers in Texas to provide compassionate in-home support to clients. Under RN or Therapist direction, you will assist with personal care and ensure comfort and safety for clients in their homes.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, companionship, documentation, and coordination with the care team. Must have CPR certification, and at least one year of caregiving experience; TB testing as required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of direct client care experience.
• Active CPR certification.
• Recent TB test (within 12 months or two-step).
• Must be 18+ years old and able to read/ follow a written care plan.
• Licensed driver with reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and, if authorized, transportation to clients per care plan.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, meals, and safe transfers.
• Report changes in client condition to supervisor as outlined in the care plan.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records for the Agency.
• Collaborate with the client's care team and ensure effective communication.
• Promote client safety by infection control practices and report unsafe conditions.
• Attend in-service programs to meet compliance and notify supervisors of educational needs.
