Job summary

Vertical Home Health in Indiana is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join our growing team. The ideal candidate provides personal support to clients and demonstrates a can-do attitude and friendly demeanor.

You will assist with hygiene, meals, mobility, medication reminders, and light housekeeping, working in one-on-one settings, with a focus on dignity and quality of care for our neighbors in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (showering, bathing, dressing, eating).
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with mobility around the home and accompany to appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them to shop.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report unusual incidents and respond to emergencies.
