Job summary

ELITE HOME HEALTHCARE LLC seeks a Home Health Aide to deliver personal care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role assigns aides to clients and involves assisting with daily activities and health-related tasks in the client's home.

The ideal candidate has completed a formal certification program or demonstrated competency, strong communication, and the ability to read and follow a Plan of Care. Experience in home health settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Formal certification training program completed or written skills test and competency evaluation.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services under RN direction.
• Perform delegated nursing tasks as extension of nursing care.
• Perform household services essential to health care at home.
• Assist in medication administration under RN supervision where allowed by law.
• Report changes in client condition and document care provided daily.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow infection control practices.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
