Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) PACE is seeking a Home Health Aide to support elderly participants in their private homes under the CHA PACE program. You will provide assistance with daily living activities and travel to participant homes using your own vehicle.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, MA driver’s license with reliable transportation, and prior experience with older adults; MA HHA certification preferred, Spanish-speaking helpful. Full-time day schedule in East Cambridge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year working with older adults? required.
• Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Home Health Aide Certification in Massachusetts preferred; Spanish-speaking proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works independently in the private home of PACE participants.
• Uses own reliable transportation to reach participants’ homes.
• Assists with bathing and ADLs as prescribed.
• Assists with laundry or provides laundry service as assigned.
• Ensures homes are clean and safe to promote health and safety.
• Communicates effectively with management and healthcare team members.
• Completes daily home care or day center assignments.
