Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance's PACE program in East Cambridge is hiring a Home Health Aide. Under supervision you will visit participants in their private homes to assist with activities of daily living, using your own reliable vehicle.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of experience with older adults, a Massachusetts driver's license and personal transportation. Scheduling is Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, 40 hours weekly, no weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year working with an older adult population.
• At least one year experience as a personal care attendant or home health aide.
• Massachusetts driver's license and personal transportation required.
• Home Health Aide Certification in Massachusetts preferred; Spanish-speaking proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works independently in the private home or living environment of PACE participants.
• Uses own reliable transportation to reach participants' homes.
• Assists with bathing (full/partial/sponge) in tub or shower.
• Assists with laundry or provides laundry service as assigned.
• Keeps homes clean and safe to promote health and safety.
• Communicates effectively with management, peers, and the healthcare team.
• Completes daily home care assignments and supports ADLs.
