Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team. The HHA works under a registered nurse to provide personal care and comfort to patients in their homes, observing and reporting patient conditions and documenting care provided.

Qualifications

• Meets the training requirements of the State.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Must have a current driver's license.
• Reliable transportation with current auto liability insurance.
• At least one year's experience as HHA or CNA/CHHA program completion.
• Must read and write in English and follow instructions.
• Interest in welfare of ill and elderly.
• CPR and Hepatitis profile proof (Florida only).
• Aide Competency Evaluation Skills Checklist and written Skills Test.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Is self-directing with minimal supervision.
• Provides a calm manner when in a patient’s home.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal healthcare and related services in client's residence.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Work with patient and family and share observations with supervisor.
• Work under the supervision of a registered nurse.
