Job summary

Gratitude Homecare of New Jersey is a family-owned home care agency dedicated to compassionate patient support in clients’ own homes. We are growing and seek caring caregivers to join our team who value high-quality, person-centered care.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed. Flexible schedules and growth opportunities are available to dedicated staff.

Qualifications

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and basic daily living support.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments.
• Plan and prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Complete light housekeeping and shopping tasks.
• Report emergencies and lift safety concerns promptly.
• Deliver activities essential for daily living and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
