Job summary
Gratitude Homecare of New Jersey is a family-owned home care agency dedicated to delivering high-quality in-home care. We care for elderly clients and individuals in Morris Plains, NJ, with compassionate, one-on-one support.
Our team is growing and we offer flexible schedules and opportunities for growth to dedicated caregivers. We provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders to help clients maintain independence at home.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
- Take pride in providing high quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly clients in their homes.
- Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
- Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or activities.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene.
- Plan and prepare meals.
- Complete client shopping or accompany to shops.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Report incidents and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Assist with daily living activities as needed.
