Job summary

PurposeCare is hiring compassionate Home Health Aides/CNAs to provide one-on-one care in patients' homes within the Midwest service area. Expect hands-on support with daily living activities, companionship, and safe, respectful care delivered by a dependable, patient-focused team.

Licensed HHAs/CNAs are encouraged to apply, and candidates willing to become certified are welcome. Flexible scheduling options may include full-time, part-time, or PRN roles depending on market.

Qualifications

• Active HHA or CNA certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Ability to follow written care instructions and document services
• Willingness to complete TB testing, background screening and onboarding requirements
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting
• Assist mobility, transfers, ambulation, and ROM per care plan
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Support medication self-administration through reminders
• Monitor and report patient condition to supervising nurse
• Take and record basic vital signs when trained
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly client environment
• Assist with linens and light client laundry
• Use safety equipment properly
• Document care provided according to standards
• Travel to patient homes across service area
• Complete required in-service training, including dementia education
