Job summary

S & S Home Health Care Agency in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our growing team, delivering in-home care to clients who need assistance with daily living activities. You will support independence and quality of life in the familiar surroundings of clients’ homes.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility support, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and documenting client progress. CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified HHA or equivalent training (as required by state regulations).
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
