Job summary

FaithCare Hawaii is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support for clients in the Honolulu area. Caregivers will work under supervision of a nurse and perform personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation assistance as needed.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, Nurse Aide training or healthcare certification, FA/CPR, and TB clearance. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Nurse Aide training or equivalent healthcare certification.
• FA/CPR certification is required.
• TB clearance (2-step) is required.
• Criminal background background check completed.

Responsibilities

• Follows service plan to provide safe, competent home care.
• Helps maintain client hygiene and a safe environment.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals per the service plan.
• Assists with ambulation and mobility under supervision.
• Promotes client independence per the service plan.
• Provides emotional support and confidentiality.
• Reports changes to supervisor and documents visits.
