Job summary

S & S Home Health Care Inc. seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide to support clients in their own homes, helping with activities of daily living while promoting independence, dignity, and comfort.

You will provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and reliable transportation as needed. You’ll monitor health changes, report them to supervisors, offer companionship, and follow care plans with accurate recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• Certified HHA training or equivalent per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy and desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (appointments, walks).
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
