Qualifications

• Valid Florida HHA license in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification.
• Physical and negative TB skin test within the past 12 months.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and motor vehicle background check.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers.
• Provide companionship and support during daily activities.
• Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, pharmacies, and other outings.
• Assist with mobility exercises per the plan of care.
• Observe and document changes in the client’s condition and communicate to the Director of Nursing.
• Provide care per the client’s individualized plan of care.
• Maintain client privacy and confidentiality.
