Job summary

Right at Home Upper West Side Manhattan is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide daily in-home care, companionship, and basic health-related services to seniors and others in their homes.

You will assist with personal care, health monitoring, mobility, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and safety. A valid HHA certificate and required clearances are expected; we offer flexible schedules and weekly pay.

Qualifications

Actie HHA Certificate
Two forms of ID
Two reference letters
Covid Vaccination Card (at least 2 doses)
Physical Form (past 6 months)
Rubella/Measles/Mumps/Varicella immunizations with titers
Annual PPD/QuantiFERON TB Gold (≤1 year)
Drug Screen (≤1 year)
Flu Shot (optional)

Responsibilities

Provide Personal Care services including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing and incontinence care
Health Monitoring: temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure
Mobility Assistance: bed to chair transfers, walkers or wheelchairs, prescribed exercises
Medication and Health Management reminders and self-administration assistance
Household Support: light housekeeping, meals, groceries
Companionship and Safety: emotional support, safe home environment
Maintain accurate service records and report changes to nurse or supervisor
