Job summary

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable caregivers to help clients stay comfortable and independent at home in Williamsport, PA. You will follow care plans, assist with daily tasks, provide companionship, and support families with empathy and respect.

Starting pay is $11–$13 per hour with biweekly pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement. Training and office support are provided to ensure quality, compassionate in‑home care.

Qualifications

• Compassion, patience, and respect for client privacy and preferences.
• Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office.
• Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
• Reliable transportation to visits and use of a smartphone for timekeeping.
• Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow each client’s care plan and help with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving dignity.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
• Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using our electronic visit verification system.
