Job summary

Interim HealthCare of NE Florida is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide/Caregiver to provide in-home support in Jacksonville, FL. You will assist with bathing, dressing, meals, and companionship, helping seniors live safely at home.

Requirements include a CNA license or HHA certificate, CPR certification, and a valid Florida driver’s license. Six months of healthcare experience is preferred, and you can set your own schedule with benefits offered by Interim HealthCare.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.
• CNA License or HHA Certificate.
• CPR certification.
• Valid FL driver’s license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies
