Job summary

HCE-Careers is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join our team. You will work one-on-one with clients in their homes, following an individualized care plan and building genuine relationships.

Strong communication, attention to detail, and reliability are essential. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus; Florida eligibility, valid driver's license, CPR, and AHCA background screening required.

Qualifications

• Clear and compassionate communication with clients and families
• Attention to detail in daily care and routine tasks
• Ability to organize and manage multiple client schedules and records
• Empathy and ability to build trusting relationships with patients

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities (transfers, baths, mobility)
• Care for clients by linens, laundry, cleaning, meals, and personal care
• Maintain client care records and report observations to supervisor
• Build relationships with patients through conversation or reading aloud
• Provide medication reminders as prescribed
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities
