Job summary

Village Caregiving in Toledo, OH is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to join our growing team. You will provide one-on-one, in-home care to help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home.

As an HHA, you will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, follow care plans, and help with meals and light housekeeping. This role offers flexible scheduling, ongoing training, and a supportive team culture that values your dedication.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio HHA certification is required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient with a desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Able to pass background checks and pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Provide companionship and emotional support while encouraging independence and dignity.
• Follow individualized care plans to meet each client's needs.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Monitor clients' well-being and report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain documentation and HIPAA compliance.
