Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to assist seniors in Estero and Bonita Springs, FL. You’ll provide personal care, meals, and companionship in clients’ homes, helping them live safely with dignity and respect.

Set your own schedule in a 1:1 care model and build skills with online training and CEUs. Rasmussen University tuition discounts are available, and CPR is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active HHA registration in Florida.
• At least 6 months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Able to communicate in English including reading/writing.
• Valid Florida driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify a supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
