Job summary

Altra Home Health is seeking caring and dependable CNAs and HHAs to join our team and deliver essential personal care in patients' homes. You will support daily living activities, monitor health, and document observations for supervisors.

We offer comprehensive benefits, competitive weekly pay of $15–$18 per hour, overtime and holiday pay, and a flexible schedule. Requirements include being 18+, valid driver's license and auto insurance, CPR, and 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance required.
Current CPR certification.
Preferred: at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be hired as Home Health Aides and will perform the same essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Assist with patient laundry when needed.
Provide friendly medication reminders.
Help ensure patient safety at all times.
Promptly report significant changes in a patient's condition to their supervisor.
Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when required.
Monitor and record patient temperature.
Support patients with ambulation.
Guide patients through range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
Keep thorough documentation and follow all care protocols.
Uphold privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
Offer hands-on bathing assistance.
Handle light housekeeping tasks.
Provide meaningful companionship, including letter-writing and reading.
