Job summary

Valley Home Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable female Home Health Aide with a car to support individuals in their homes, helping maintain independence and safety. Experience is welcome but not required; the right attitude and responsibility are valued.

The role includes assisting with ADLs, providing companionship, monitoring changes in condition, assisting mobility with equipment like Hoyer lifts, light housekeeping, and strict HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong caregiving abilities, including personal care, cooking, and housekeeping
• Ability to work independently while also communicating effectively with a care team
• Dependable, patient, and attentive to client needs
• Commitment to providing high-quality care
• No certification required

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to create a positive and respectful environment
• Monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition or behavior
• Assist with mobility, including use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts when needed
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and general cleaning
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines when handling client information
