Job summary

Dazzle Healthcare LLC in Linden, NJ is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide one-on-one in-home care. You will follow personalized care plans, support daily living activities, and build trusting relationships with patients to promote comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates have completed an accredited Home Health Aide program, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. CPR certification is required and prior home health or hospice experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of professional experience preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Give medications and immunizations.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
