Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants, Home Health Aides, or CNAs to deliver in-home care. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication reminders, safety supervision, and light housekeeping in patients' homes.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-focused service with adherence to care protocols and privacy guidelines. Prior relevant experience is welcome, and a flexible schedule is available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure patient safety.
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required.
• Monitor and record patient temperature.
• Assist patients with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
