Job summary

Vertical is seeking a compassionate home health aide to join our growing Indiana team. The ideal candidate provides personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, meal prep, and companionship to elderly or recovering clients.

You will work in a one-on-one setting, must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be able to work nights or weekends. Prior home health or healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide personal hygiene assistance and daily living support.
• Comfortable working in a one-on-one client setting.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation daily.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Prior healthcare/home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene and daily living assistance to clients.
• Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments.
• Plan and prepare meals; assist with feeding when needed.
• Complete light housekeeping and shopping assistance.
• Monitor health status and report concerns promptly.
• Support patients with activities essential for daily living.
• Document care provided and communicate with supervisors.
