Job summary

Visiting Angels is hiring Part Time Home Health Aide - HHA to support clients at home across Owensboro and nearby areas, including Henderson. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship per care plans.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills. First Aid training is provided; enjoy flexible hours, competitive wages, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is provided if needed.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties within dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (background check).
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten each client’s day.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Provide assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
