Job summary

Visiting Angels is hiring a Senior Care Aide to support seniors in Henderson, Owensboro, Spottsville and surrounding areas. You will help with personal care, light housekeeping, medication reminders and mobility support in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time-management skills essential.
• Reliable transportation to client visits required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills expected.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response helpful.
• Willingness to follow state and office health/safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping for clients.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications on time.
• Assist with shopping and grocery tasks as needed.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients based on abilities.
• Assist mobility and accompany clients to appointments and activities.
