Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Aide to assist a female client in Towanda with in-home personal care. The role involves helping with daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship to support independent living at home.

The HHA will follow a nurse’s plan of care, provide transportation to client homes as needed, and work with a supportive BAYADA team offering training, flexible schedules (full-time, part-time, per-diem, and on-call), and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Previous home health care or patient care welcomed, but not required. We will train you.
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care following a written plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and maintain client safety at home.
• Meal preparation and feeding; light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Provide medication reminders and support as directed by the nurse.
