Job summary

First Day Homecare® is seeking dependable PRN/Part-Time caregivers to join our San Antonio team as we expand services to new clients. You will provide personal care and companionship under the direction of supervising clinicians, following a patient care plan and reporting changes.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, light transportation if needed, documenting care, and maintaining client safety. Hours vary by client needs with opportunities for additional shifts as the agency grows.

Qualifications

• +1 year of direct caregiving experience.
• Active CPR certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Licensed driver with reliable vehicle and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and, if authorized, transportation to clients according to the care plan.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, meals, and safe ambulation/transfers.
• Report changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor as outlined in the care plan.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records for the Agency.
