Job summary

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team in supporting elderly, disabled, and intellectually disabled participants. We offer up to $19 per hour, cash and referral bonuses, and flexible scheduling with part-time or full-time options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time.

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate must be able to care for our Participants and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect.
• Care for the Participant physical and emotional care due to illness, injury, disability, etc.
• Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands, or provide transportation if needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist/reminders with medications. Prepare meals, purchase food, and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
• Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting an individual.
