Job summary

Arcadia Homecare and Staffing is recruiting a dedicated Home Health Aide to support seniors and disabled clients in their homes. The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to care plans, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be clear on the California Home Health Aide Registry.
• Must complete 5 hours of annual training.
• Must have reliable transportation with valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Follow specific care plans for clients and report on completed tasks.
• Assist with the personal care needs of the client (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Provide or assist in routine house cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Transport client to doctor’s appointments, grocery store, and other errands.
• Assist the client with the self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance and be flexible to departmental needs.
• Comply with Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
