Job summary

Arcadia is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support based on a written care plan. This entry-level role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours to accommodate personal needs while delivering quality care within a growing home care provider.

No prior experience or certifications are required; training is provided in-person, by phone, or via video to ensure caregivers gain meaningful skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• Must complete the agency's employment process.
• Criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and well-organized.
• Must exhibit maturity, responsible behavior, & maintain consumer confidentiality.
• Must be able to follow directions and work as a team.
• 3 references (2 professional, 1 personal)

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Home support (light housekeeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes)
• Light meal prep and serving meals
• Accompanying the consumer to appointments when approved
• Grocery shopping, or other errands when approved
• Providing companionship and stimulation for the consumer (reading, walks)
