Job summary

S & S Home Health Care Agency is looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care that helps clients maintain independence and quality of life in their own homes.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, and meal preparation while monitoring health changes and following care plans. Reliable transportation is required to fulfill visits.

Qualifications

• Certified HHA or equivalent training per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
