Job summary

VitalCaring is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care, comfort, and dignity to patients in their homes. You will support daily living activities, monitor health, and document care while collaborating with clinical teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered service.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, hold HHA certification or training, possess CPR, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• State and federal requirements for Home Health Aide certification or training.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read care plans and document services.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility and transfers per the care plan.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Take and record vital signs as trained.
• Assist with medication self-administration as directed.
• Document care accurately in the EMR system.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and care coordination.
