Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide compassionate in-home support, helping clients maintain independence in their own homes. This role focuses on personal care, daily living activities, meal preparation, and accompanying clients to medical appointments.

The position emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and the ability to work flexibly in diverse home situations, with a strong commitment to equitable care and client well-being.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
• CPR certification preferred or to be completed within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, medication reminders).
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Provide care without regard to age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
