Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care services to meet patient needs in the Fort Worth, TX area. Salary ranges from $15 to $20 per hour with weekly paychecks and flexible scheduling. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and adherence to the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements per state and federal laws.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given.
• Possess and maintain CPR certification as required by state regulation.
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Complete Maxim screening examinations.
• Complete Maxim competency program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients according to plan of care with personal care tasks.
• Baths, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding and related activities.
• Record vital signs when ordered and demonstrate competency.
• Assist with safe transfers and ambulation.
• Assist with range of motion and extensional therapy per orders.
• Handle patient laundry and safety needs; use equipment safely.
• Observe home safety and educate on safety practices.
• Recognize emergencies and follow emergency procedures.
• Communicate clearly with client, family, and office; report changes to nurse supervisor.
