Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our homecare team in Shelton, CT. You will provide hands-on personal care under a RN, assisting with daily activities and monitoring patient vitals in the home setting.

Requirements include a CT Home Health Aide or CNA certification, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour with benefits.

• Current State certificate as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Aide

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily activities.
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure).
• Help patients safely walk, transfer, and use mobility equipment.
• Follow each patient's individualized care plan.
• Monitor and report changes in a patient's condition to the care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and protect patient privacy.
