Job summary

Active Day is seeking Personal Care Aides to provide, restore, and promote the health and well-being of clients in home settings. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health, and support transportation as needed.

The role emphasizes a positive attitude, dependable teamwork, safety, and compassionate service to clients and their families. Prior CNA or Home Health Aide certification is preferred, with flexibility to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
• For driving positions: valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (e.g., eating, ambulation, transferring, therapies, rest room assistance).
• Provide home support including light cleaning, laundry, shopping and home safety.
• Prepare and serve meals, assist with feeding.
• Monitor health status and escalate concerns as needed.
• Run errands and assist with appointments.
